Remember TGIF? TGIF was a defining institution of all children born in the 1980s. To not watch TGIF was to be a victim of class 3 child abuse. I extend my deepest sympathies if you missed out on these halcyon days of TV enlightenment.

You are free to choose your favorite, but I contend the glory years were the 1993 – 1995 lineup. Below, I took the liberty of crossing out the years where the series was corrupted beyond rescue.

Lastly, here is an indisputable ranking of these shows into 3 tiers of palatability,

Life Changing
Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters, Dinosaurs

Mr. Belvedere, Step by Step, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Boy Meets World, Hi Honey, I’m Home, Baby Talk

Teh SuX0rs
Just the Ten of Us, Going Places, Camp Wilder, Muppets Tonight, Aliens in the Family, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Clueless, You Wish, Teen Angel, Two of a Kind, Brother’s Keeper, The Hughleys, Odd Man Out, George Lopez, Married to the Kellys, Hope and Faith, Life with Bonnie, 8 Simple Rules, Complete Savages, Less Than Perfect
